Study of Possum Bones
This was a material study of some possum bones my friend found for me on the farm where she works. I found this piece very challenging - the colors weren't (and still aren't) coming out easily. However, I focused a lot on form and value and I hope that shown through, past the color issues.
This is the current iteration. Sometimes I go in and noodle with small details and color adjustments, and I'm not completely happy with it, but it's a great place to share!
I never was happy with the coloring of the final, but I definitely had fun testing out different rendering techniques.
