About the Artist

Alexandria Dannhardt is a multidisciplinary artist passionate about sharing her expertise in science and research. She earned her undergraduate degrees in illustration, computer science, and biology from Virginia Commonwealth University. After graduation, she worked at an exotic veterinary surgery, where she deepened her knowledge of vertebrate anatomy while illustrating in her free time. In 2023, she moved to Baltimore to pursue her M.A. in medical illustration within the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.

Her 2D and 3D artworks reflect her enthusiasm for biology and physiology, inspiring both seasoned scientists and curious learners to explore the wonders of discovery. Through her illustrations, she aims to ignite curiosity and share her love for the incredible world of science.

When not illustrating, Alexandria can be found hiking with her dog, Cricket, crocheting, or doing data analysis for her performance in the video game Splatoon.
