Description
This patient education piece was designed for a lay audience and intended for display in both print media, 3.75″ by 7.75″.
The project was developed in a role-playing environment, with faculty members acting as art directors. It involved working within a budget and a tight deadline of 2 days.
Thumbnailing
After the initial meeting, I drafted a series of thumbnails exploring different layout options and potential ways to visually convey the concept. These sketches allowed us to quickly evaluate various approaches and refine the direction before finalizing the design.

Draft
By the end of the first workday, I presented the “client” with a first draft for review. This draft included basic value fills to support storytelling, and all text content was incorporated.

Final Product
Due to the client’s budget constraints, only enough time was available to complete a flat-color version. This is what was ultimately prepared for “publication”.
I continued to refine the rendering further for my own satisfaction and to enhance my portfolio.
